Ovary

Ovaries are two in number. These are located on the outer side of the uterus, near the right and left fallopian tubes. They alternately release ovum after 28 days, which becomes pregnant with sperm.

1. Egg release

2. Hormone secretion

1. Egg release

Discharged by rupture of ovarian surface in 28 days this process occurs once per month in healthy conditions.

 2. Hormone secretion

There are two hormones

1. Estrogen

2. Progesterone

1. Estrogen

This hormone causes the development of these organs in female puberty, the attractiveness of the voice, reading of the breasts, etc.

2. Progesterone

A hormone is released from the anterior part of the pituitary gland, its name is L. H hormone. As a result, progesterone is released from the corpus luteum during menstruation.

 Pituitary gland

Two types of hormones are released from the anterior part of this gland.

1. FSH

2.  LH

1. FSH

This hormone stimulates the granulosa to release estrogen hormone.

2.  LH

This hormone is also produced by the anterior part of the pituitary gland when the production of FSH stops. Under the influence of this hormone, the corpus luteum grows. From which both hormones Estrogen and progesterone are produced L. H is produced for fourteen days after which F. S. H begins.
